CELEBRITIES MR. FRANCIS NG, MR. LOUIS KOO AND MS. CHARMAINE SHEH CONGREGATED AT STUDIO CITY FOR FILMING MOVIE BLOCKBUSTER “LINE WALKER”

Macau, Thursday, April 7, 2016 – A two-day filming has just completed at Asia’s Entertainment Capital – Studio City – for the highly anticipated movie “Line Walker”, featuring a group of well-known faces to town, including Mr. Francis Ng; Mr. Louis Koo and Ms. Charmaine Sheh.

Producer of “Line Walker” Ms. Virginia Lok said:  “TVB and I are very glad to have a chance to collaborate with Studio City for this movie shooting.  Studio City is the best venue for filming “Line Walker”.  Studio City embraces a strong sense of cinematic theme, with the latest and luxurious entertainment offerings in town.  Studio City also provides us with the greatest support in different aspects. All these are our key reasons for choosing Studio City as the main shooting location.  The entire shooting process indeed went very well.”

Producer of “Line Walker” Mr. Wong Jing said: “We wanted to choose an iconic and cinematically themed filming location for “Line Walker”.  Studio City, the Hollywood-inspired integrated resort is a perfect fit for us with its unprecedented vibrant attractions which provide audiences with a measure of sparkle and newness in the movie.  Studio City is our dream destination for filming and we are very honored to be the first movie to incorporate the Golden Reel, the world’s first and only figure-8 Ferris wheel.”

Amongst the many Hollywood-inspired and cinematically-themed entertainment attractions, producer Wong Jing used some of Studio City’s world-class entertainment offerings as the main scene, including the world’s first and Asia’s highest figure-8 Ferris wheel; wherein, award-winning artists Mr. Francis Ng, Louis Koo and Charmaine Sheh faced off at the awe-inspiring hotel towers and the lushly landscaped pool deck in the Hollywood-inspired, cinematically themed integrated resort.

After his first experience of the Golden Reel at 130 meters high, aMr. Francis Ng thinks the Golden Reel is comparable to the London Eye, he said: “For me, Macau is a place of wonder. Studio City, a resort situated in the heart of Cotai, is the leisure and entertainment hotspot that offers a wide array of entertainment options for visitors to enjoy.  All resorts in Macau have their own style with signature offerings, Studio City stands out with its world’s first and Asia’s highest figure-8 Ferris wheel.  I believe all visitors would love to experience this thrilling ride experience which is unique to Studio City.  I was amazed when I was up at 130 meter enjoying the breathtaking views of Macau and Pearl River Delta, the entire Golden Reel journey is indeed relaxing.  I believe the Golden Reel is one of the iconic landmarks that the locals should be very proud of.”

‘Studio City just looks like a setting in Hollywood movies’, Ms. Charmaine Sheh added: “I have been to Macau quite a few times, and this time the experience was totally different, especially when I was fully immersed into this Hollywood-inspired resort. Studio City impressed me very much and I enjoyed every moment of my stay. I was also impressed that Studio City has so many world’s first entertainment offerings, like the world’s first and only figure-8 Ferris wheel, world’s first 4D Batman flight simulation ride “Batman Dark Flight” and the world-class one-of-a-kind multi-theater attraction “The House of Magic”.  I never thought such a small city like Macau could have all these stunning entertainment features.  I will definitely visit them all in my next return to Macau and fully indulge in the excitement and beauty of Studio City!”

Mr. Louis Koo commented: “I was mainly doing the fight scenes here at Studio City, the sequence with Clara Lee in the hotel room and the ‘standoff’ with Charmaine by the swimming pool was definitely unforgettable. It is such a rare opportunity that I can be working while at the same time enjoying the vibe of this Hollywood-inspired resort.”
